WHO: Turning Points for Children

Turning Points for Children is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that provides proven and innovative programs that nurture families with children who are struggling against difficult economic and environmental odds. Our approach includes after-school family programs, parenting education for teen moms and other struggling parents, assistance to relative caregivers, and in-home counseling and case management to keep children, in imminent risk of child neglect and abuse, safe and healthy.

We provide the critical resources, life skills and supportive partnerships needed to create stronger families and raise children with the hope for brighter futures.

WHAT: Kids at Heart Benefit Event 2012

Kids at Heart is an annual fundraiser that gives friends the opportunity to gather in celebration of a worthy cause. The evening includes cocktails, wine and dinner, exciting entertainment, a special item raffle, silent auction, and awarding the 2012 Kids at Heart Honoree, Mr. E. Steven Collins. Previous honorees include: Philadelphia Eagles Wide Receiver, Jason Avant, Vai Sikahema, Dr. John Alston, Sonny Hill, Robb Armstrong and Kathy O’Connell.
